I’m a U.S. Army veteran (1978 – 1982) and a retired U.S. federal government employee (1983 – 2006) who’s been a consultant since 2010 doing technical projects and AI workflow automation for micro- and small businesses. When not working, I run the Maryland Raptor Conservancy, a raptor education non-profit as the vice president and raptor educator, using a Barn Owl, a Red Tailed Hawk, an American Kestrel and a Barred Owl. I also rescue birds of prey here in Maryland – eagles, falcons, ospreys, hawks, owls and vultures – and help rehab them for release back out into the wild.
