I am the current Equal Opportunity Practitioner for the Maryland Air National Guard (2013 – present). I have served 15 years with the United States Air Force Reserve out of Dover, DE serving in administrative positions and as the Airman and Family Readiness NCOIC (Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge) before transferring to the MD Air National Guard. I was the first NCOIC to lead the 175th Wing’s Student Flight where I supervised and mentored over 300 new members and helped with their transition from civilian life to military life. I am proud to say that under my leadership, our Student Flight members were among the top 3% of graduates from Basic Military Training. I have built strong relationships with my members as well as with their parents and am honored to hear some, after all these years still refer to me as “Mom”. I am privileged to have been able to touch so many lives.
