What was the most important thing you learned during Project Opportunity^SM?:
The most important thing I learned was how to approach my business as a business owner rather than simply as a service provider. Project Opportunity strengthened my understanding of business planning, financial management, marketing, networking, and the importance of building relationships. It also reinforced the value of using my experience as a veteran to lead with discipline, integrity, and service while creating opportunities for others

What successes have you had since completing Project Opportunity^SM?:
Since completing Project Opportunity^SM, I have continued to grow Integrity Notary Services, LLC as a mobile and remote online notary and loan-signing business.

In 2023, I won The Ratcliffe Foundation Business Pitch Competition and received a $4,000 award. I used the funding, along with additional business funds, to strengthen my operations with a computer, mobile generator, mobile Wi-Fi, printer, business supplies, CRM/website resources, and professional development.

I have completed more than 300 real estate closings and expanded my professional capabilities in title and settlement services.

I am also committed to paying the opportunity forward: I currently mentor five notary professionals, including two who came through Project Opportunity. My mentees are developing their notary and title-industry skills, and several have obtained commissions or pursued additional credentials.

These accomplishments reflect growth not only in my own business, but also in my ability to help other entrepreneurs move forward. I have also earned my BS in Business Administration and will complete my MBA in December 2026. My desire is to help others build mobile notary/service businesses.
