Ryan Keelty enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in May 2004 as a Private and retired in August 2019 as a Chief Warrant Officer 2. During his time, he held the MOSs of 0431 Embarkation Specialist, 0911 Drill Instructor 0491 Logistics Chief, 0430 Embarkation Officer. He had be stationed in Camp Pendleton, CA, Parris Island, SC, Cherry Point, NC, Camp Lejeune, NC, Quantico, VA, Okinawa, Japan, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, and Water Reed, MD.

Chief Warrant Officer Keelty’s awards include: Navy/Marine Corps Commendation Medal, (3) Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medals; 1 with Combat Distinguishing Device, Combat Action Ribbon, (2) Navy Unit Commendations, (3) Good Conduct Medals, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal (w/1 star), Iraq Campaign Medal (w/ 2 stars), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, (3) Sea Service Deployment Ribbons, Marine Corps Drill Instructor Ribbon, NATO Medal-ISAF Afghanistan, Expert Rifleman Badge(5th award), and Expert Pistol Badge (3rd award).

He has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Leadership & Management from Towson University in May 2024. In December 2025, Ryan graduated from Fall 2025 Project Opportunity in Harford County and launched Vision & Valor Group, LLC.

He is married to former Margaret Virginia Valentine of Edgewood, MD for 21 years. They have four children; Austin, Adeline, Isla and Alaina.
