HARFORD COUNTY SPRING 2021 CLASS – After the completion of the orientation session which was attended by nine (9) veterans and telephonic screening assessments a total of eight (8) veterans were accepted into the program. Here is a summary of their business ventures:

  • Mental Health Care
  • Chimney Sweeping
  • Mental Health Care for First Responders

Classes started on March 10, 2021 at the SURVICE Engineering. Training Room. The Graduation Ceremony was held on May 19, 2021. All eight (8) veterans completed the course and graduated. Those business ventures that these graduating veterans are seeking to start or expand are:

  • Cherry Trashcan Cleaners – Trash Can Sanitization
  • Zinnia Virgo Soaps – Homemade Soaps
  • Fleur De Leigh Partiez – Birthday Celebrations for Underprivileged Children and Veterans
  • ARK Consulting LLC – Management Consulting
  • Be With – Virtual Health and Wellness Company
  • Starks Chimney Services – Chimney Sweeping and Maintenance
  • Parade R.E.S.T. – Therapeutic Program for Women with Career Sustained PTSD

Adrienne Sommerville, Project OpportunitySM Southern Maryland Class of 2019 Graduate and President of Sommerville Consulting Group, LLC was the Keynote Speaker.

Katina McDonald, a graduate of the Project OpportunitySM Fall 2014 Class held in Odenton, Maryland and Owner of Photography by Katina McDonald provided the photographic services for the ceremony.
