Irina Vishnevetsky is the Director of Executive Strategies for CIC Wealth. She has over 10 years’ experience in the financial services industry specializes specializing in understanding the needs of business owners. Prior to CIC Wealth, Irina was a leading Private Advisor with BB&T’s Wealth division where she spearheaded the Executive Services Initiative for business succession, non-traditional key person and executive compensation strategies. Irina holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations as well as being licensed in life and health insurance. She is a Registered ParaplannerSM with the College for Financial Planning.
Irina graduated with honors from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Psychology in 1999. She currently serves on UMBC’s Alumni Board of Advisors where she is in her 3rd third term, and chairs the UMBC Alumni Awards Committee.
Irina is a veteran of the United States Navy. She served during the Gulf War. She is driven to give back to her country and her community.
Irina is an instructor with Project Opportunity, which is a business entrepreneurship course helping veterans to succeed in their business ventures. The program is currently offered to veterans through the Howard County Economic Development Authority at the Maryland Center for Entrepreneurship.
She is an active member of the Howard County Tech Council where she chairs the Howard STEAM Ahead initiative, uniting the county’s STEM efforts. As a clearing house for industry, community orgainizations, and government efforts to engage young people in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math; Howard STEAM Ahead opens doors for the future. Maryland workforce as well as amplifies the voice for regional STEM initiatives. Through Howard Tech Council, Irina sits as a member of the regional Women in Technology (WIT) MD Leadership Lunch Subcommittee.
Irina is an active member in AFCEA of Central MD Women in Intelligence Group (WIIG).
