2016 Project Opportunity Graduation, Anne Arundel County – Fall

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY FALL 2016 CLASS –  After the completion of the orientation and telephonic screening assessments a total of six (6) veterans were accepted into the program. Here is a summary of their business ventures:

  • Real Estate
  • Towing Services
  • Veteran One Stop Services
  • Event Planning
  • Mobile Medical Imaging

Classes started on September 8, 2016 at the Anne Arundel Community College Arundel Mills Campus. The Graduation Ceremony was held on November 17, 2016 at the Anne Arundel Community College Arundel Mills Campus.  All six (6) veterans completed the course and graduated.  Those business ventures that these graduating veterans are seeking to start or expand are:

  • Double Image Acquisitions, LLC (Real Estate Investment)
  • The Baylor Group, Inc. (Road Transportation Services)
  • Coalition of H.O.P.E. (Veteran One Stop Services)
  • Retail Food Service
  • Nothing But A Party (Event Planning)
  • Mobile Medical Imaging

Secretary George W. Owings III, Secretary Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs was the Keynote Speaker.

Katina McDonald, a graduate of the Project Opportunity Fall 2014 Class held in Odenton, Maryland and Owner of Photography by Katina McDonald provided the photographic services for the ceremony.

Murraydine Catering, owned by Murraydine Williams a Project Opportunity Anne Arundel Fall 2015 Class Graduate provided the catering services for the Graduation Ceremony.
